FEATURES
- Sumptuous red velvet fabric, the kind that whispers luxury with every swish.
- Lace details on the sleeve cuffs and collar, because nothing says "I’m important" like a touch of lace.
- Bow accents, perfectly placed on the collar and skirt—because more bows mean more sass.
- Tiered skirt that offers just the right amount of drama as you glide across the room.
- V-neck cut that hints at elegance but says, “I’m here to have fun, darling.”
- Drop waist
- Pullover entry
This dress allegedly once belonged to a woman named Marguerite “Maggie” LaRue, a notorious socialite who had a tendency to “accidentally” spill champagne on people she didn’t like. Maggie wore this very dress to a scandalous art deco soirée in Paris, where she danced with a prince, outran a waiter chasing her for unpaid champagne, and “borrowed” a Rolls Royce for a joyride through the city streets. It’s safe to say, this dress has seen more adventures than most of us could ever hope to—and probably needs a rest. But, darling, don't worry—it'll be ready for your next grand escapade.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition for its age. There has been a previous repair made on the front of the dress about 4in below the sleeve. There is a pinhole on the back of the dress just below the lace collar. This dress is very delicate and should be worn and treated with extreme care.
